Cameron Davis has had a weird quirk of going a little off in his third rounds of late. In four of the last five tournaments, he has performed below the field average. The one time he did not was when he won the Rocket Mortgage Classic. That was behind a stellar week where David performed in the 60's all four rounds. Besides that, he was up and down at the 3M Open last time out where he alternated good and bad rounds. It was that third-round 73 which kept him from finishing in the top 20. His strokes gained around the green of -0.225 were exacerbated in some of these third-round meltdowns. It is enough of a concern to maybe temper expectations for Davis at Memphis.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
