C.J. Stroud Declares For NFL Draft
2 years agoOhio State junior quarterback C.J. Stroud officially declared for the 2023 NFL draft. Stroud is projected as a top-five player in the 2023 draft, according to ESPN draft analysts, and he'll be competing with Alabama's Bryce Young and Kentucky's Will Levis to be the first QB taken. By entering the draft and likely being a top-five pick, Stroud has essentially guaranteed $35 million in his first NFL contract. He was a two-time finalist for the Heisman Trophy and finishes his Ohio State career with a 21-4 record as a starter and with 16 school passing and total offensive records. In the last two seasons, he finished with 85 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions, proving that he is one of the most dynamic players in the sport.
