C.J. Stroud Dealing With "General Soreness"
C.J. Stroud is not throwing at organized team activities on Tuesday due to what head coach DeMeco Ryans called "general soreness." "There are no concerns with CJ. Just general soreness. Taking extra precautions," Ryans said. The head coach declined to answer if Stroud had any work done on his right shoulder in the offseason. It was reported last week that the 23-year-old signal-caller didn't take part in an OTA practice due to a tight pectoral muscle, but it wasn't considered a long-term problem. As long as Stroud gets back on the field soon, there won't be any cause for concern, and the Texans don't appear to be worried whatsoever. Stroud took a step back in 2024 after being a top-10 fantasy QB in his rookie campaign, and his offensive line certainly didn't help his cause. Whether he can bounce back as a QB1 in fantasy will depend on how effective his O-line is at protecting him.
