4 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Byron Pringle signed his original-round tender on Thursday, according to his agents. The 27-year-old will make $2.1 million during the 2021 season. Pringle caught just 13 passes on 17 targets for 160 yards and one touchdown in 13 games (three starts) for the Chiefs last year, but the team remains high on him and he could have a much bigger role this season now that Sammy Watkins is no longer around. Still, the Chiefs have plenty of weapons on offense, and he's likely to compete with Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman for an expanded role behind wideout Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
