7/12:Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hand) injured his hand on Thursday at Triple-A Rochester and will go for further testing, but the team doesn't think it's serious. It's either been injuries or ineffectiveness for Buxton so far in his career, although he did tease a breakout at the end of last year. He's hitting a weak .156/.183/.200 with no homers, four RBI and just five steals in 28 games this year at the big league level and hasn't fared much better in the minors (.225, two homers, three steals in 18 games). Most fantasy owners have already given up on the former top prospect.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
