Byeong Hun An's share of 29th place at the BMW Championship was not enough to push him into the top 30 of the FedExCup standings. An needed a massive performance to progress to the season finale in Atlanta but was only able to move up to 42nd position in the yearly standings with his play in Pennsylvania. The South Korean kept up his pristine iron play by gaining 2.485 strokes on his approach shots compared to the field, but he faltered on the greens and lost 4.822 strokes with his putter. An has become one of the better ball strikers on tour and has gained strokes in 12 of his previous 14 trackable tournaments with his irons, but the 26-year-old continues to struggle mightily with his flat-stick. An made 20 of 22 worldwide cuts on the season but is still looking for his first career PGA Tour title. If the 47th-ranked player in the world can get his putting sorted out in 2019, he very well may be able to have his first breakthrough victory.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBallerRead More News
