Bubba Wallace isn't a name that you associate with road course racing unless you're talking about the drivers that aren't very good at that track type. In 21 career Cup Series starts at road courses, Wallace has just one top 5 and two top 10 results, and his average finish is 24.9. With that being said, Bubba has shown improvement over the last couple of years, as he has finished 14th or better in five of the last eleven road course races. This weekend at Circuit of the Americas, Wallace showed pretty good speed in practice on Friday, posting the 8th-fastest lap and the 6th-fastest five-lap average. Bubba will start from 11th for Sunday's EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix and will be looking for a career-best finish at Circuit of the Americas this weekend--which shouldn't be too difficult considering he has ended up 39th and 38th in his two previous starts at this track.--Jordan McAbee
