Bryce Miller Could Make Rehab Start on Friday
Bryce Miller (elbow) will either throw a second live batting practice session or make a minor-league rehab start with Triple-A Tacoma on Friday, per MLB.com. Miller threw 25 pitches in his first live BP session on Saturday while using all his pitches. He came away feeling good, which is why he's ready to take the next step later this week as he works his way back from right-elbow inflammation that landed him on the 15-day injured list on June 7. Because of how long the 26-year-old has been out, he'll likely require at least a couple rehab starts before rejoining the M's starting rotation, which means we probably won't see Miller until August. It's been a disappointing 2025 season for Miller after posting a 2.94 ERA last year. Through 10 starts, he has a 5.73 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 39:23 K:BB in 48 2/3 innings.
