Bryce Harper Has Bruised toe
5 years agoUpdating previous reports, Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (toe) suffered a bruised left big toe when he was hit by a pitch in the Grapefruit League game on Tuesday. Harper is expected to play again on Friday, according to manager Joe Girardi. The Phillies were just exercising caution with their superstar outfielder, and Harper should be just fine moving forward. The left-handed slugger hasn't helped owners in batting average the last two seasons, but he does have 69 home runs and 214 RBI over that span, so he remains an elite fantasy asset who is going around pick No. 22 in fantasy drafts.
