4 years agoLas Vegas Raiders rookie wide receiver Bryan Edwards is listed as a starter on the team's depth chart heading into Week 1 against the Panthers. He'll line up alongside fellow rookie Henry Ruggs III and Hunter Renfrow. An opportunity for Edwards opened up when Tyrell Williams (shoulder) was placed on Injured Reserve, so the 21-year-old is worth a waiver pickup early on if you're in need of more receiver depth. He had an outstanding training camp and was even compared to Davante Adams by quarterback Derek Carr. Edwards has a favorable matchup against Carolina out of the gates, but it's fair to wonder how many snaps he'll play as a complementary option in his first game.
