Broncos Defense Stays Hot, Records Another Three Turnovers
1 year agoThe Denver Broncos defense during their now five-game winning streak has almost been a night and day difference from the version they were earlier in the year when they allowed a record-breaking 70 points to the Dolphins in Week 3. They held the Cleveland Browns offense to just 12 points in Week 12's 29-12 win on Sunday, forced another three turnovers (three fumble recoveries) and picked up a safety in the process. The Browns were rather careless with the football in this one, putting the ball on the ground five times. Along with the three takeaways, Denver's D picked up four sacks and knocked rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson out of the game late due to injury. The Broncos defense has put themselves on the fantasy map due to a whopping 15 takeaways in the last four games, but they'll have a tough challenge on their hands against impressive rookie QB C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans in Week 13.
