Broncos Defense Loses Some Luster After Von Miller Injury
4 years agoThe Denver Broncos Defense can still be a borderline starting option for fantasy managers in 2020 after they were a late-round option in drafts, but the season-ending injury to All-Pro pass-rusher Von Miller (ankle) lowers their overall ceiling. Denver lost Pro Bowl cornerback Chris Harris Jr. and defensive lineman Derek Wolfe in the offseason, but they added cornerback A.J. Bouye and defensive tackle Jurrell Casey. A healthy Bradley Chubb should help make up for the loss of Miller as well. Containing last year's leading rusher Derrick Henry won't be easy on Monday night to kick off the season, but Denver's D will still be in play as a low-end fantasy starting unit at home.
