Broncos Activate Greg Dulcich, Justin Simmons
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos activated rookie tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring), safety Justin Simmons (quadriceps) and cornerback Michael Ojemudia (elbow) from Injured Reserve in time for their Monday night showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers. With Dulcich making his NFL debut on Monday, the Broncos have made Albert Okwuegbunam a healthy scratch. Eric Saubert will likely be the team's top receiving tight end against LA, but Dulcich could carve out a bigger role as a pass-catcher as the season progresses. Those that were stashing Okwuegbunam in deeper leagues can cut bait now. Simmons, an All-Pro safety, gives Denver's secondary a huge boost against a Chargers offense that remains without receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring).
