Brian Griese, Klint Kubiak Interview With Saints
11 months agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterbacks coach Brian Griese and passing-game coordinator Klint Kubiak have both interviewed for the New Orleans Saints' offensive-coordinator job, according to a source. The Saints are looking to replace Pete Carmichael this offseason after 18 years with the organization. Griese is a former NFL QB who joined head coach Kyle Shanahan's staff in San Francisco in 2022. The 48-year-old had no prior coaching experience, but since joining the team, he has helped Brock Purdy, a seventh-round pick, become the Niners' starting quarterback. Kubiak is the son of former NFL coach Gary Kubiak and has previous experience as a play-caller as the Minnesota Vikings' offensive coordinator in 2021. The Saints have spoken to six total candidates for the job so far.
