Brett Baty Hits Firth Homer Of Season Tuesday
Brett Baty had a nice game at the plate in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Pirates. Baty went 2-for-3 with a single and a solo home run. The 25-year-old lined a seventh-inning Mitch Keller offering just over the left-field fence to put the Mets ahead for good. The former fantasy prospect hasn't hit for a high batting average but has provided power in 2025, slashing .239/.270/.521 with five HR, 11 RBI, and a stolen base in 75 plate appearances. While his power is somewhat intriguing, Baty hasn't provided enough overall and has played very little against left-handed pitching, limiting his fantasy value.
