Brandon Wu Is A Wild-Card Pick In Mexico
2 years agoThere is only one year of course history for the Mexico Open in its current form, but Brandon Wu's is about as good as it gets. Last year, he finished T2 with Tony Finau and Kurt Kitayama. Wu also tied Finau with the lowest round at the event with a Sunday 63 to finish one shot behind Jon Rahm. Wu has been solid off the tee and on approach this year, but he has struggled with his short game and putting. Vidanta will be a bit easier to putt on, so a player that has shown the ability to pop is worth a shot in a weak field.
