Washington Redskins Pro Bowl guard Brandon Scherff, who already signed his franchise tender, is working toward a long-term extension with the team. The 28-year-old has been one of the better right guards in the league since the Redskins took him fifth overall in the 2015 draft, and he's started 65 games since then and made three Pro Bowls. Scherff said talks on an extension have "gone well." The only concern with Scherff are injuries, and he finished 2019 on Injured Reserve with shoulder and elbow injuries. If healthy, though, he'll be a key member of the team's offensive line while trying to protect quarterback Dwayne Haskins in his first full season as the starter under center.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
