3 years agoDenver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus made all three of his extra-point tries and both of his field goals (a long of 36 yards) in the 27-13 Week 1 season-opening win over the New York Giants on Sunday on the road. Although McManus only recorded nine points for his fantasy managers in regular scoring leagues for kickers, this opening-week win was an encouraging development for his fantasy prospects the rest of the way with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater running the offense. And if Denver's defense plays as well as they did in the opener for most of the season, the Broncos could be content kicking plenty of field goals. McManus, who has one of the strongest legs in the NFL, will absolutely be in play as a starting kicking option heading into Week 2 against a very beatable Jaguars defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
