Brandon Lowe The Hero In Win Over White Sox
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe provided the heroics for the Rays on Friday night in the 8-7 win over the Chicago White Sox when he hit a two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to send the fans home happy. He finished the night 1-for-4 with two RBI, two runs scored, a walk and two strikeouts. It's been nice to see the 28-year-old left-handed hitter show some pop early on in 2023. Through 17 games played and 66 plate appearances, he's gong 16-for-55 (.291) with a double, six home runs, 15 RBI, a stolen base and 17 runs scored for the streaking Rays. Injuries have plagued Lowe in recent years, but he's healthy now and appears to be locked in at the plate.
