Brandin Cooks Back At Practice
2 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks (personal) was back at practice on Wednesday for the flex period, but he wasn't doing drills. Usually, Cooks gets a veteran rest day on Wednesdays. The 29-year-old was hoping to be traded at last Tuesday's deadline, so when he wasn't he was unhappy and the team held him out of the Week 9 game on Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles. It's a good sign that he's back with the team despite not officially practicing, but it remains to be seen how the team will handle his situation heading into Week 10 against the New York Giants. If Cooks is back practicing on Thursday, he should be heading in the right direction to play on Sunday. At best, he's become a low-upside WR3/flex in Houston's inept offense.
