Brad Peacock To Start Tuesday For Astros
6 years agoHouston Astros pitcher Brad Peacock will take a turn in the rotation Tuesday night against the Mariners. The Astros find themselves tied with the A's for the division heading into the game and will turn to the reliever Peacock to right the ship. The right-handed pitcher started 21 games last season for Houston, going 10-2 with a 3.22 ERA, a 1.22 WHIP with 135 strikeouts in 111 2/3 innings pitched. Peacock this season has appeared in 49 games and is 2-4 with a 3.19 ERA and 81 strikeouts through 53 2/3 innings. Peacock has power stuff but certainly will be on a pitch count for Tuesday. He may not be the best play in DFS but fantasy owners could do worse than Peacock, a pitcher who has averaged 12.28 K/9 over the last two seasons when he is on the mound.
