Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Brad Miller was scratched from Monday's game with a facial contusion sustained during batting practice. There does not seem to be a huge amount of concern coming from the Rays, so it seems unlikely that Miller misses much time. Miller is hitting .246 with five home runs in 150 plate appearances. Christian Arroyo will take Miller's spot and hit sixth, but the biggest effect for fantasy on Monday is Mallex Smith moving to the leadoff spot. Impressive performances from Smith in the leadoff spot could earn him that role in the long term.--Ben Rolfe
