Boston Bruins left wing Brad Marchand bagged four assists in Thursday's 5-1 win over Detroit, helping Patrice Bergeron to record a four-goal game. Three of the assists came on the power play. Marchand had two shots himself and handed out three hits in 19:14 of action. The veteran winger boosted his points tally for the season up to 12 points with the effort. He's recorded 16 shots and 13 hits in eight outings. The Bruins have been a bit inconsistent early in the season, but they now head into Saturday's matchup against Toronto with back-to-back wins.
