Bo Bichette Slashing .271/.319/.494 In May
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette has had a nice turnaround at the plate this month after struggling in April. He opened the year with a .213/.237/.298 slash line and just four extra-base hits (two homers, two doubles) in April. However, in May, he's slashed .271/.319/.494 while tallying seven doubles and four home runs. Given the high expectations this year for the 24-year-old, Bichette's start to the year has been a bit underwhelming. However, fantasy managers have no reason to be concerned. The majority of his underlying stats are right where they were last year, when he was a fantasy stud. With his 83rd percentile average exit velocity (91.1 mph) and his 84th percentile xBA (.289), we expect to see better numbers from Bichette across the board going forward.
