The Buffalo Bills placed safety Damar Hamlin on the Injured Reserve on Friday. Hamlin had a cardiac arrest on the field on Monday night in the Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals and will not play again this season. The 24-year-old has been fighting for his life all week while in critical condition, but he has improved significantly in recent days and is neurologically intact, which is a great sign in what could be a lengthy recovery from a scary incident. Hamlin remains in the hospital in Cincinnati but was able to speak with teammates via Facetime on Friday morning. It's way too early in his recovery process to know whether he'll have a chance at resuming his career, but the news that he's improving has been incredibly uplifting to the football world. Buffalo will close out the regular season with a Week 18 matchup at home against the New England Patriots.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
