Bills Confident In Gabe Davis As No. 2 Receiver
2 years agoBuffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane said that he has "a lot of confidence with Gabe Davis as our No. 2 wide receiver." Many folks were expecting a breakout season for Davis in 2022, but it just didn't come to pass. The 23-year-old did have career-highs in catches (48), targets (93) and receiving yards (836) while scoring seven times, but he fell short of expectations and was too inconsistent in one of the best offenses in football. Davis will obviously still have a role in Buffalo in 2023, but it doesn't mean the Bills won't look to upgrade at the position through free agency or the draft. Even if Davis remains the unquestioned No. 2 wideout behind Stefon Diggs, fantasy managers should expect inconsistency in 2023.
