1 year agoThe Cincinnati Bengals placed rookie wide receiver Charlie Jones (thumb) on Injured Reserve and acquired linebacker Devin Harper off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys in a corresponding move on Saturday. Jones, a rookie from Purdue, suffered a thumb injury in the Monday night win over the Los Angeles Rams, will now have to miss at least the next four games. The earliest the 24-year-old pass-catcher can return will be on Nov. 5 against the Buffalo Bills. In his first three NFL games, the fourth-round selection had just one catch for a six-yard gain on two targets.
