Bengals Bringing Back Quinton Spain
4 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals are finalizing an undisclosed one-year deal to re-sign offensive lineman Quinton Spain on Tuesday. Spain signed a three-year, $15 million deal with the Buffalo Bills last year and opened the 2020 season as their starting left guard. But he was benched after just two games and was released in October. He then signed with Cincinnati and started eight games at right guard. The Bengals also signed right tackle Riley Reiff this offseason, hoping to boost their offensive line in front of second-year quarterback Joe Burrow. The 29-year-old Spain went undrafted out of West Virginia and spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Tennessee Titans before latching on with the Bills in 2019.
