Seattle Mariners outfielder Ben Gamel has sputtered out of the gate since returning from an oblique injury, hitting .167 (7-for-42) to begin the season. Gamel drove in 59 runs in 2017 and hit .275, but his 26th-ranked BABIP certainly was in line for a regression this season after posting a slugging percentage of .413. Gamel simply is not hitting the ball very hard right now and has only two extra-base hits this season. He should, however, continue to see a healthy amount of at-bats in the near future now that legend Ichiro Suzuki has been moved from the field to the front office. But Gamel is light years away from fantasy consideration and currently is the weak link in an improved Mariners offensive lineup.--Joey C - RotoBaller
