The Colorado Avalanche selected defenseman Bowen Byram with the No. 4 pick overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft on Friday. He registered 26 goals with 71 points and a plus-33 rating across 67 games with the Vancouver Giants of the WHL, and he exploded for eight goals and 26 points in 22 playoff games. Byram is an offensive threat who will join a talented rearguard corps in Denver which consists of Cale Makar and Tyson Barrie. Byram has a chance to make the roster out of training camp, and he will be a highly coveted player in long-term fantasy keeper pools.--Daniel DobishRead More News
