Auston Matthews Dealing With Minor Upper-Body Injury
3 months agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews left Tuesday's practice early with an upper-body injury. However, according to Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube, the injury isn't anything serious. The Maple Leafs fans and fantasy managers who are banking on Matthews to have another big season can breathe a sigh of relief. Matthews enjoyed a career year in 2023-24 with 69 goals and 107 points and has started the new campaign off on the right foot as well, scoring in his preseason debut on Saturday against Ottawa.
