As expected, Austin Cindric had an uninspiring run at Bristol but he had enough of a cushion over the NASCAR Cup Series playoff bubble drivers to advance to the Round of 12 regardless despite only finishing 13th and scoring no stage points. Although he normally finishes worse than he starts, it was relatively unlikely that would happen last night after he started 27th.
