11 months agoHouston Astros manager A.J. Hinch said team doctors were happy with second baseman Jose Altuve's (knee) progress after a checkup on Monday. "They were very pleased with the healing and they have a pretty good plan in place to keep inching forward," Hinch said. It's unclear if Altuve will be able to return from the disabled list later this week, but fantasy owners will remain optimistic. The 28-year-old remains an offensive force, hitting .329 with nine home runs, 46 RBI, 14 stolen bases and 64 runs scored.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
