Ashton Jeanty Could See Expanded Role in Week 3
Ashton Jeanty could see an expanded role in Week 3. The sixth-overall pick played just 57% of snaps in Week 2's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, a share head coach Pete Carroll acknowledged was too low. "The numbers haven't been as good as we want so far. We want more of Jeanty. He ran very well when he had the ball, and we just needed to get more snaps," Carroll said this week. Jeanty has struggled in the passing game and pass protection, and negative game scripts could limit his fantasy upside. He faces the Washington Commanders, a defense that has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs to start 2025. Despite the tough matchup, Jeanty remains a low-end RB1 in fantasy this week.
