Antonio Gibson Doubtful To Suit Up Against Giants
1 year agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson (toe) missed his third day of practice on Friday and is considered doubtful to face the New York Giants on Sunday in Week 11. Gibson had his best performance of the year in the Week 10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, posting 14.0 half-PPR points on the strength of five catches for 42 yards and his second receiving touchdown of the year. Unfortunately he won't be able to build on that this weekend and needs to be returned to benches. In his absence, rookie Chris Rodriguez Jr. will get a boost in playing time as the primary backfield complement to Brian Robinson Jr. Gibson has merely been a low-upside RB3/flex option in deeper PPR formats this year.
