Antonio Gibson Benefits The Most From Adrian Peterson's Release
4 years agoWashington Football Team rookie running back Antonio Gibson, who stood out in training camp, should be the biggest beneficiary of Adrian Peterson's release. The third-round draft pick is a pass-catching threat and is an excellent fit for the offense, according to Peterson himself. Washington also has Bryce Love and Peyton Barber for early down snaps and J.D. McKissic as another pass-catching option. Even before AD's release, the rookie had been rising up draft boards, so he's definitely firmly on the fantasy radar now. Especially in PPR leagues with a much more concrete role in the offense, the 22-year-old is firmly in the RB3/flex mix now.
