Antonio Brown Does More In Practice
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that wide receiver Antonio Brown (knee) and safeties Jordan Whitehead (shoulder) and Antoine Winfield Jr. (ankle) took part in practice on Thursday and "ran around pretty good." Brown and Whitehead were listed as doubtful for the Super Bowl on last week's injury report, but they have made progress this week and could suit up on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Winfield was limited after missing the NFC Championship. The Bucs secondary will need both players if they hope to slow down KC's high-octane offense. Tampa will monitor the swelling in Brown's knee as we head into Friday. The veteran wideout missed the NFC Championship but has 59 yards and a touchdown in two postseason games, albeit on just three receptions. Brown will be a shaky boom/bust fantasy wideout in Super Bowl LV.
