Detroit Red Wings winger Anthony Mantha was traded to the Washington Capitals on Monday in a deal that saw Jakub Vrana and Richard Panik head the opposite way. The Wings also picked up a 2021 first-round draft pick and a 2022 second-round draft pick. Mantha heads to Washington having posted 11 goals and 21 points this season. He has averaged only 0.5 points per game but should be a lot more productive on a team stacked with offensive talent. Vrana, who has 11 goals and 25 points this term, should also receive a boost by getting a chance to play a bigger role. The Czech winger logged only 24 total minutes in his last two games for the Capitals. Panik will be a nice depth piece for Detroit.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
