8/7:The Los Angeles Angels are hoping that starting pitcher Nick Tropeano (shoulder) can make his next start after leaving his start early on Monday with right shoulder tightness. Manager Mike Scioscia said that Tropeano isn't scheduled to undergo an MRI exam. The right-hander pitched well against Detroit, giving up just one earned run on a solo home run in five innings against the Tigers in a win. He's a shaky fantasy commodity overall, though, posting a 4.74 ERA while striking out 7.58 hitters per nine innings on the season. He's also walking a scary 3.67 hitters per nine innings.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
