Andy Dalton Considered Week-To-Week With Knee Injury
3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton (knee) is considered week-to-week after suffering what looked like a very serious knee injury in the Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Tests ruled out any serious ACL or MCL injury and Dalton has yet to be ruled out for Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns, but rookie first-rounder Justin Fields appears to be in line to make his first career start this Sunday. Dalton is officially dealing with a bone bruise in his knee and is on the wrong side of questionable as of right now. The Bears are saying that he remains the starter when healthy, but Fields could run with the job if he performs well. Don't plan on having Dalton this weekend in superflex leagues. Fields, who didn't look all that great in the second half in Week 2, would be a low-end QB2 with upside in two-QB leagues if he makes the start against Cleveland.
