2 years agoCleveland Guardians second baseman Andres Gimenez is hitting fifth in the batting order in the series finale on Sunday against the Seattle Mariners and right-hander George Kirby. Gimenez moves up the lineup for Cleveland after opening the year with a .343 average (12-for-35) with four doubles, one home run, four RBI, 10 runs scored and two stolen bases in his first nine games played. The 24-year-old continues to get on base for his fantasy managers at a regular clip and needs to remain in all starting lineups. Gimenez went hitless on Opening Day on March 30 but is now on an eight-game hitting streak since the season opener.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
