Edmonton Oilers forward Andreas Athanasiou, who had a superb debut with two points on Tuesday against Anaheim, picked up a lower-body injury in only his second game for the team when the Oilers visited Vegas on Wednesday. Athanasiou, who finished the game with one shot and a minus-one rating, exited after completing only one shift in the third period. It's unclear how much time Athanasiou will miss, but it's certainly a blow for Edmonton after the top line with Athanasiou, Connor McDavid and Tyler Ennis combined for seven points in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss. The team returns to action on Saturday vs. Winnipeg.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
