Cleveland Cavaliers center Andre Drummond has reportedly accepted his $28.7 million player option for next season. This news shouldn't shock anyone as Drummond was not expected to get anything close to that in free agency. This means Drummond should hit free agency next season and possibly be a trade candidate mid-season for the Cavs. The return of Drummond likely means that Tristan Thompson is headed elsewhere.
