Allen Robinson Expects To Remain With Bears This Year
4 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson said he expects to finish out the year with the team, but he didn't clarify whether he or his agent formally requested a trade after being disappointed with the team's long-term contract offers. ESPN's Dan Graziano and The Chicago Tribune both reported that Robinson, who is in the final year of his contract, has requested a trade. His agent, Brandon Parker, has denied the trade request. A-Rob had five catches for 74 yards on nine targets in the Week 1 win over the Lions and led the Bears with 98 receptions for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns in 2019. The 27-year-old will be facing a Giants secondary that allowed three TDs to Steelers receivers in Week 1, so Robinson will be a strong WR1 this weekend.
