Washington Capitals right wing Alex Ovechkin moved into sole possession of the eighth spot on the NHL’s all-time power-play goals list on Wednesday, netting his 235th in the second period against Pittsburgh. Ovi now has goals in back-to-back games and 12 of them for the whole season, which has him leading the league in goals alongside Boston's David Pastrnak. The Caps own the league's best power play at 34 percent, so it's not unrealistic to believe that Ovechkin will be among the top-five before the season is done. He needs 11 more power-play goals to tie Phil Esposito for the fifth spot.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
