New York Rangers goaltender Alexandar Georgiev was pressed into duty again on Saturday after Igor Shesterkin was placed on the injured reserve. Georgiev helped New York hold on to a 1-0 shutout on Friday night then won on Saturday night. The goalie stopped 25 of 27 shots in securing his third win of the season in five decisions. This was likely his best performance of the season as the goaltender tries to build confidence. With Shesterkin out for at least another two games, Georgiev will see more playing time and need to be at his best. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
