Washington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin scored a goal and an assist during a 5-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night. Ovechkin continues to age like a fine wine, as he is enjoying one of his best seasons at age 33. The Russian sniper is up to 39 goals, 27 assists, and 19 power-play points through 57 games. Ovechkin is on pace to reach the 50-goal plateau for the first time since 2015-16. There is no question that he is one of the top goal scorers of all time.
