Washington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin became the eighth player in NHL history to score 700 regular-season goals in Saturday's 3-2 loss to New Jersey. Tom Wilson recorded a power-play goal in the contest. Ovechkin completely crushed it in January before cooling off a bit this month, but it was only a matter of time before he reached the big milestone. The Capitals captain now has 42 goals and 59 points this season. He has ended a five-game goal drought with markers in back-to-back games, and Ovechkin will be looking to extend the streak on Sunday against fierce rivals Pittsburgh. 35 of Ovi's 700 goals have come against the Penguins.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
