Alex Bregman Still Doesn't Feel Right
4 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman (hamstring) said he still doesn't feel like his legs are fully underneath him early in the season after he dealt with hamstring problems last year and in spring training. He missed the first two weeks of Grapefruit League games, and manager Dusty Baker has held Bregman out of the lineup twice in the first 10 games of the season. However, he feels as though he's trending in the right direction and hasn't had any setbacks. Normally a slow starter with the bat, Bregman entered Tuesday's game in an 0-for-12 slump that dropped his average to .281. It's worth noting for the 27-year-old, but fantasy managers should be encouraged with the fact that the All-Star third baseman is slowly feeling better early this year.
