Defenseman Alec Martinez was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a 2020 second-round draft pick and a 2021 second-round selection on Wednesday. The 32-year-old, who won two Stanley Cups with the Kings, has recorded eight points (one goal, seven assists), 59 shots, 32 hits and 85 blocks in 41 contests in 2019-2020. Known more for his play in his own end, the Michigan's native's offensive production has slipped as he's aged, but could see his numbers improve across the board on a more offensively potent Vegas team. Just 1% owned in Yahoo! leagues, Martinez could be nice speculative add for the short-term.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
